i cannot earn ur love
i hv no agenda for mine
i only hoped tt u wld see
this abiding truth in time 

over and over i’ve made
mistakes far too many
inside the cracked mirror
my reflection i clearly see

but despite my sins
raging selfish commotions
i truly do love u deep
inside my love’s ocean

is there nothing at all
amidst broken shards of time
worthy of ur forgiveness
for this heart of mine?
