tho you say you understand
depths of my heart

wrapped around
filled within
smell of hair
touch of skin

how could you ever see
ocean so deep
echoing inside me
tears my soul weeps

and just for a moment
suspended in time
rejoicing that I can give
to you what is mine

tied without ropes
longing in nothingness
praying without hope

then you are gone
in the light of day
no warm cradling
just walk away

hot anguished tears
ardent flowing rivers
fragile trembling fears

but just refuse to look

and see all you forsook
