timeless diva

timeless and so beautiful – the song and the diva.

when i first heard this song, i was mesmerised. i learned to play it on the piano, figuring it out on my own and with some help from an old nightclub pianist friend of dad’s, called “uncle ho chung”… i was a little girl of eight, battling a painful then unknown physical condition… and music was the best thing to happen to me.

never would i have thought i would walk this road, let alone that i would meet her and work with her someday.

dreams do come true – and even those you dare not dream!

yet another song i have learnt to sing with understanding since the first time i fell in love with it.

thank you, ms. poon – your gift is more precious than you will ever know, in a myriad of ways.
